VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK

AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK
The park is located in 2h30′ drive from Kigali City. It comprises mixed habitat of savannah, woodlands, wetlands and a dozen lakes. Clients can hope to see the Big Five on safari drives (Lion, Leopard, Buffaloes, Elephants and Rhinos), Zebra, Giraffe, Topi, and more than 490 bird species.
NYUNGWE NATIONAL PARK
The park is located at 6 hours drive from Kigali City. It is one of the oldest rainforests in Africa, with the Afromontane forests, bamboo-covered slopes, grasslands and wetlands. The park is also support 1,068 plant species, 13 different primates and 322 birds including 29 Albertine Rift Endemics.
LAKE KIVU
The lake is located at 3 hours drive from Kigali city. It is one of the African Great Lakes. It lies on the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, and is in the Albertine Rift, the western branch of the East African Rift.
